Lego + Catechism = what is not to love? Is wonderful when faith and joy intersect and they do in this wonderful volume. It is SO MUCH BETTER than the other "brick Bibles" that are on the market.Had bought an Old and New Testament brick book set as a birthday gift for my oldest son. He was very disappointed that the images were so negative, violent, and seemed to celebrate the ugly. He put it on a high shelf, as he was worried his little brother might see some of the scenes glorifying the bloody, tragic, angry, death-filled scenes. Finally, he asked me to throw the books away. Our family never "throws books away." After really sitting down with the other two volumes, I realized why he was troubled by the editions. We have Bibles throughout our home. We do not censor the difficult parts of the Old and New Testaments. It is one thing to read of them in words and context and with the fullness of what comes before and after. Is another to simply layer snapshot after snapshot of gore, grim, and violence. And market it to children.The other books truly are for an adult audience with mature themes - and are missing the very element one would hope to find in any Bible: the story of God's love and plans for humanity, His entering into our physical world, the redemption of man by our savior Jesus Christ, and our hopes for reaching heaven.All of God's Truth, Beauty, Goodness and MORE can be found in StoryTel's Catechism of the Seven Sacraments. Is definitely a catechism, very much like a question and answer traditional catechism. Only in a joyful, faithful, lovingly photographed and captured format. My oldest son was delighted to have this new Brick Book and that he can share it with siblings and friends of all ages. A great gift and just a terrific book to have in your home. (Or in your car! Is an excellent travel book, too).Share it with your priests, sisters, deacons, Religious Ed directors, family, friends, neighbors. Simply a neat addition to our collective Catholic culture. Childhood on up.

I wish I could give this 10 stars! What an amazing book!! Theology of Covenant, the Fourth Cup of Passover (which I just read about in Scott Hahn's book, The Fourth Cup), even St. Faustina and Divine Mercy is in there, along with my absolutely favorite prayer to St. Joseph. The attention to detail, the solid Catholic teaching, the sacraments are all beautifully presented using Legos. Legos. If someone had told me two weeks ago that I would be raving about a book about the sacraments that used Legos as a teaching tool, I would have thought they were crazy. But what a great idea!! And even better, it works!!

I bought this for my daughter's 10th birthday and ended up reading it myself before I gave it to her! What a fun, kid relevant way to explain the sacraments! My daughter thinks is it amazing, and I agree! This is definitely going to be my new go-to First Communion gift!

My kids liked it, and it is an interesting way to present the catechism. What I don't like about it is the font that is used, all of the "H"'s are angled, and that all of the letters are capitals. We are big comic book readers here, but this font is hard on the eyes and I can only read short amounts at a time.

I'm completely blown away. I'm a convert who has gone through RCIA (twice) and I've never completely understood certain things until now and I'm only on page 53. Thanks be to God and those who put this together 🙏 It's already helped meso much. I can't wait to share this with my kids, their cousins and anyone else who would give it a gander. I may even send a copy to my parish. Seriously, you'll learn a good deal, even if you're only a kid at heart 💗

I think the concept of this book is terrific. What kid doesn't like Legos? I teach 1st & 2nd graders in religious ed, so I thought this would be a terrific book for them. Unlike the other reviewers, I was not overly impressed with the layout. There is too much information on each page, which makes the pictures very small. The pictures also seem dark. I think I would have kept this book is it were cheaper and just added it to the library of books I let individual kiddies look at, but for this price, I expected more, so it's going back.

My son loves this book! He will sit for hours reading it! My husband and my dad also loved looking at this and it totally grabbed their attention. It is solid, and I love the pictures and content. I think all Catholic families should have a copy of this book in their home!!

Such a great book! I plan to buy more as gifts for Catholic friends and family. Would love to see other topics covered with as much faithfulness to the catechism of the Catholic church.
