Maya is a tool for creating not a program that creates. This book illustrates and describes what Maya can do. It will not show you step-by-step how to create a picket fence but it will let you know that it can be done. This book describes how the tools in Maya can be used, it reads like an owners manual. It is a great reference. I give it four stars because if you want to buy it at a brick and mortar bookstore, it's a bit expensive. It's too expensive.
this book gave me lots of things to learn off it, i havent finished it but i tooked so many notes off this that i need to write up my own notes on a book... i have like too many stickies on it that i cant really keep track off it. This book is great!
