The only thing c++ about this product is cin/cout, otherwise it is 100% c, very disappointed.
- Mostly C, not C++- Sticker on front that covered some of the guide. Not the kind of sticker that peeled off easily. I had to use a chemical to remove it and residue.- If you do a little C/C++, this is nothing but stupid stuff. Virtually nothing actually useful on it.
This could have been a good first 4 pages of a 6 page C++ guide. But as it is they barely mention classes and give no information on how to define them or information of private, protected or public member variables. Also there is no mention of "static", which is probably the keyword with the most different usages. As others have said, this is a only C reference card with a couple mentions of C++
I had to return this, because it only covered "C" features, NOT "C++" .
This is horrible. There are things in here that make no sense. C++ only has pass by value and pass by reference. This introduces something *extra* that doesn't even belong.It says that C++ only has cout and cin. That's also not true. If you include cstdio and not iostdio then you have all the printf/scanf, which are much easier to use.Nothing about name spaces is explained although one example uses a name space (std)The rest of the the sheet only covers *basic* c++. There are no examples of creating, instantiating, and using objects. This is at the heart of C++.There is nothing about FILEs or the use of pointers.This "C++ Guide" is pretty worthless.
Some information on the sheet is outdated but it is still a good reference sheet. You need to make sure you use updated information for the compiler you are using. Dated 2006. So newer implementation of C++ v11 and v14 not covered.
This is a C guide not a C++, even though it is emblazoned with C++.I bought it to help remind me of format details. I would return it but the effort would not be worth the $4.
This is great, has all the stuff for a first semester C++ student!
